Format
Manuscripts must be written in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format. Other formats such as PDF or LaTeX are not accepted. Authors are required to use the Suluh article template.
Article Length
The length of the article ranges from 3,000 to 5,000 words, including tables, figures, references, and acknowledgments. The maximum similarity index is 30%.
Article Organization
The body of the article should be set (at least) using an IMRaD structure like the following:

ABSTRACT. Abstracts must be written in two languages: English and the article language. Abstract length is 150–250 words. The abstract should clearly and concisely describe: background and objectives of the community service activity, methods of implementation, main results and impacts of the activity. Abstracts are written using Palatino Linotype 11 pt, italic, single spacing. Keywords consist of 3–5 words or phrases, separated by commas.
INTRODUCTION. The introduction must contain, in sequence:
- General background and urgency of the community service activity;
- Review of relevant previous studies or activities (state of the art) to demonstrate novelty and relevance;
- Identification of problems or community needs;
- Objectives of the community service and reasons for selecting the target community or partner.
A separate literature review section is not permitted.
METHOD OF IMPLEMENTATION. This section explains clearly and concisely the methods used to achieve the objectives of the community service program, including: planning stage, implementation stage, evaluation stage.
Authors must describe indicators of success and measurement tools used to assess the achievement of the program, including social, educational, cultural, or economic changes in the target community.
RESULT AND DISCUSSION. This section is the main part of the article and should: describe the implementation process of the community service activity, present results and outcomes supported by data, analyze the impact, strengths, limitations, and sustainability potential of the activity. Tables, figures, and documentation may be included and must be referred to in the text. Each table and figure should be numbered and given a clear title.
CONCLUSION. The conclusion presents a concise summary of the outcomes of the community service activity and directly answers the stated objectives. The conclusion should not repeat the abstract and may include recommendations or follow-up plans.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT. If needed, the author can add appreciation to this section.
References. Articles must include at least 10 references. 70% of references should come from journal articles published within the last five years. References are arranged alphabetically. Authors are required to use reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero.
Article Title
The title of the article should be written in English or Bahasa, approximately 16 words, and describe the research or study conducted, with Palatino Linotype font 14 spaces 1.
Author Details
All contributing author names must be added, and their names are set in the correct order of publication. The author's affiliation is written in full, not abbreviated. All author email addresses must be correctly listed. Each author's full name must exist in exactly the format as it will be displayed for publication, including or excluding the necessary middle name or initials.
Acknowledgments
Authors must declare all external research funding sources in their articles and statements for this effect should appear in the Acknowledgments section. No source of research funding comes from the personal, no need to include it in Acknowledgments.
Abstract structure
The author must write abstracts in English and Bahasa Indonesia with the correct structure, which includes:

The abstract length is between 150 to 200 words.
Keywords
The author must write the right and short Keywords, describing the article's main topic. Minimum keyword count of 3 (three) words and a maximum of 5 (five) words.
Headings
Titles should be short, with clear indications of differences between title hierarchies. This format is provided in the article template. how to customize the Indonesian language template.
Figures
All Images (graphics, diagrams, line drawings, web pages/screenshots, and photo images) must be submitted in electronic form. All Numbers must be of high quality, readable, and numbered sequentially with Arabic numbers. Graphs can be rendered in color to make it easier for them to look at online databases. Numbers created in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel must be provided in their original format. Electronic figures created in other applications must be copied from the original software and pasted into an MS Word template document. Photographic images must be inserted in the main part of the article and of high quality.
Tables
The table should be typed and included in the main section of the article. The position of the table should be inserted in text as close as possible to the reference point. Make sure that a superscript or asterisk is displayed next to the relevant item and display the appropriate explanation as a footnote on the table, image, or plate. For example, you can see it in an article template.
References
Suluh: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat prioritizes manuscripts that cite community service reports, research outputs, and relevant conference proceedings that support the design, implementation, and evaluation of community service activities. References are used to strengthen the conceptual framework, methodological approach, and contextual relevance of the community service programs described in the article. To ensure academic quality and relevance, at least 70% of the references should be derived from journal articles published within the last five years, while the remaining references may come from scholarly books, policy documents, or other academic sources that are relevant to community engagement and social empowerment. Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of citations. All references must be carefully checked for correctness, completeness, and uniform formatting.
All citations in the manuscript must be presented using footnotes, following the Chicago Manual of Style, 17th Edition (Full Notes). The reference list should be arranged alphabetically at the end of the article. Authors are also encouraged to cite at least one (1) article previously published in Suluh: Journal of Community Service, provided that it is relevant to the community service theme or approach discussed.
