<p>Suluh: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published biannually by the Center for Research and Community Service (P3M), Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Al-Qur’an As-Syifa Subang, Indonesia. The word "Suluh" meaning torch or light symbolizes enlightenment, guidance, and action. This journal embodies that spirit by highlighting the role of higher education institutions in illuminating real-world social issues through community engagement and empowerment. It serves as a platform for disseminating the results of community service activities that are grounded in research, education, and local wisdom.</p> <p><strong>Suluh</strong> publishes articles from a broad range of community service and engagement fields, particularly those that integrate academic knowledge with community development. The journal welcomes interdisciplinary contributions in areas including but not limited to: a) Community-based Islamic education; b) Qur'anic literacy tafsir studies; c) Socio-economic empowerment; d) Women's and youth empowerment; e) Religious moderation and cultural resilience and <a href="https://jurnal.stiq.assyifa.ac.id/suluh/index">more</a>.</p> <p>The journal emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and sustainable impact in every published project. <p>Penguasaan Qira'at 'Asyr esensial bagi guru Al-Qur'an guna memperkaya kualitas pembelajaran, namun stigma kesulitan dan keterbatasan waktu sering menghambat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan mengatasi tantangan tersebut dengan menyelenggarakan pelatihan "1 Jam Mampu Praktik Membaca Qira'at 'Asyr" bagi guru tahfidz Yayasan An-Naba Subang. Pelatihan dirancang efisien dan praktis, dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi digital Mushaf El-Mohafez sebagai media utama, yang menyediakan 20 mushaf riwayat berbeda, audio bacaan, dan penanda visual perbedaan bacaan Hafs. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan <em>Service Learning</em> melalui tiga tahap: perencanaan (diskusi dengan pimpinan yayasan, wawancara, observasi kebutuhan guru), pelaksanaan (penyampaian materi interaktif, instalasi dan tutorial aplikasi, praktik bacaan), dan evaluasi (testimoni peserta, pernyataan pimpinan yayasan, <em>post-test</em> praktik). Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan praktik guru dalam mengidentifikasi dan melafalkan Qira'at 'Asyr, mematahkan stigma kesulitan, serta menumbuhkan minat belajar. Testimoni peserta mengonfirmasi kemudahan belajar Qira'at dengan media El-Mohafez. Tindak lanjut meliputi dukungan studi formal dan pendampingan materi ushul Qira'at daring, menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan singkat yang terfokus dapat menjadi solusi efektif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan memotivasi pembelajaran berkelanjutan guru tahfidz.</p>Khoirul MuhtadinEla SartikaAmin Amin

<p><em>This article describes the assistance for the halal product process for micro and small-scale food and beverage business owners in Besitang District. The purpose of this article is to provide education and information to readers that the Halal Product Process (PPH) assistant has duties, obligations, and responsibilities in providing halal certification services to micro and small-scale business owners. The method of community service is a field (qualitative) method, where the author directly interacts with business owners who are the object of the service. The approach used is an anthropological and sociological approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through unstructured observation and interviews with competent sources, after which the obtained data was scientifically analyzed. The location of the service carried out by the author was in Besitang District, Langkat Regency. The results of the service that have been carried out are as follows: First, the PPH assistant conducted socialization to the Regional Government to form partnerships. Second, the PPH assistant conducted socialization to business owners in a humane and persuasive manner. Third, the PPH assistant conducted socialization through social media so that information could be spread to all levels of society.</em></p>Wahyu Ziaulhaq

<p>Pelatihan pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam penyusunan artikel ilmiah bagi mahasiswa S3 PKUMI bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi akademik, literasi digital, dan produktivitas publikasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi dan pendampingan lanjutan. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, peserta dilatih menggunakan ChatGPT untuk merumuskan ide, kerangka artikel, dan teori utama; Google Scholar serta Publish or Perish untuk pencarian literatur; dan Mendeley untuk pengelolaan referensi. Metode pelatihan dilakukan melalui praktik langsung dan coaching clinic sehingga peserta tidak hanya memahami teori tetapi juga mampu mengaplikasikannya dalam penulisan ilmiah. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan penulisan, kecepatan penyusunan naskah, serta kemandirian peserta dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi AI dalam proses akademik.</p>Oktaviani Permatasari

<p><em>This study aims to describe the implementation of a drug and online gambling prevention education program using a qualitative approach through a case study in Huta Raja Village, Mandailing Natal. The phenomenon of drug abuse and the increasing practice of online gambling among village youth is a serious problem that threatens the health, character, and future of the younger generation. Rural environments that are increasingly connected to the internet and the influence of outside culture make adolescents vulnerable to these deviant behaviors. Research participants included high school students/Islamic high school students around the village, guidance counselors, community leaders, and parents. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations of outreach activities, and village documentation, then analyzed using observation and interview models conducted by 16 Community Service Program (KKN) groups in Huta Raja Village. The results showed that the drug prevention education program successfully raised adolescent awareness through lectures, group discussions, and religious activities integrated with local culture. Meanwhile, online gambling prevention focused on strengthening digital literacy, limiting excessive internet access, and parental guidance. Collaboration between schools, village governments, religious leaders, and KKN groups was a determining factor in success.
