Al-Fahmu invites scholars and researchers to submit original research articles exploring the theories and practices of the Qur’an and Tafsir, particularly in addressing contemporary issues.

• Linguistic, Literary, and Thematic Perspectives on the Qur’an and Tafsir

• Methodology and Hermeneutics in Qur’anic and Tafsir Studies

• Manuscript Studies and Textual Criticism

• Surah-Based Qur’anic Analysis

• The Qur’an, Tafsir, and Biblical Traditions

• Teaching and Learning the Qur’an and Tafsir

• Lived Engagement with the Qur’an and Tafsir

Submission Guidelines

We particularly welcome empirical and field-based research that offers original insights into contemporary Qur’anic practices and interpretations. International research collaborations are highly encouraged.

All manuscripts must be written in English and prepared in accordance with the journal’s author guidelines.

Submit your manuscript by 30 December 2026.
