About Journal

Al-Afkar: Jurnal Pemikiran Mahasiswa Pendidikan is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Research and Community Service Department (LPPM) of Institut As-Syifa, Subang, Indonesia. The journal is published four times a year (February, May, August, and November), with its first issue released in August 2025. Al-Afkar's e-ISSN number is 3124-5846.

Al-Afkar serves as an academic platform for students, scholars, and researchers to publish scientific works related to educational thought, Islamic education, and the development of knowledge based on Islamic values. The journal emphasizes critical, innovative, and contextual perspectives on education as a means of intellectual, moral, and social transformation.

The journal aims to communicate original research and contemporary issues in the fields of Islamic educational thought, Qur’anic values in education, learning innovation, curriculum development, character formation, educational leadership, and the advancement of Islamic intellectual traditions. It welcomes empirical studies, conceptual papers, and literature reviews that demonstrate originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to current academic discourse.
