
Al-Afkar: Jurnal Pemikiran Mahasiswa
The journal is dedicated to publishing the ideas and research findings of students, aiming to foster critical thinking, academic curiosity, and scientific literacy among the younger generation. As a student-based journal, Al-Afkar provides a strategic space for emerging scholars to contribute to the academic discourse and showcase the originality of their thoughts and innovations.
The scope of Al-Afkar is interdisciplinary and inclusive of a wide range of themes in the social sciences and Islamic studies. The journal welcomes empirical studies, conceptual analyses, and literature reviews from students in fields including but not limited to:
- Qur'anic and Tafsir Studies
- Islamic Economics and Finance
- Educational Management and Leadership
- Islamic Studies and Thought
- Business and Sharia Management and more
The journal also encourages innovative approaches in research methodology, integration of Islamic values in academic fields, and contributions that bridge classical knowledge with modern challenges. Manuscripts may be submitted in Indonesian, Arabic, or English. All accepted articles will be assigned a unique DOI to ensure digital traceability and global accessibility.
The editorial team of Al-Afkar is committed to maintaining high editorial standards and fostering an inclusive, dynamic academic platform. We believe that student voices matter and that their ideas deserve scholarly recognition. Our long-term vision is to guide Al-Afkar toward national accreditation (Sinta) by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti), and to position the journal as a credible reference for student-led scientific publications in Indonesia and beyond.
