Al-Afkar: Jurnal Pemikiran Mahasiswa Pendidikan is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Research and Community Service Department (LPPM) of Institut As-Syifa, Subang, Indonesia. The journal is published four times a year (February, May, August, and November), with its first issue released in August 2025. Al-Afkar's e-ISSN number is 3124-5846. Al-Afkar serves as a platform for students to publish scholarly works grounded in Qur’anic studies and Islamic intellectual traditions. The term “Pendidikan” in this journal refers to the process of intellectual and moral development inspired by Qur’anic values, rather than a specific discipline of educational science. The journal aims to communicate original research and contemporary issues related to ‘Ulum al-Qur’an, Qur’anic exegesis (tafsir), and the development of Islamic thought. It welcomes contributions in the form of empirical research, conceptual studies, and literature reviews that demonstrate originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to current academic discourse.
