This journal published by the Center for Research and Community Service (P3M) Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Al-Qur'an As-Syifa Subang, Indonesia. ISSN (Online): 2962-9314 ISSN (Print): 2964-1659 is a peer-reviewed open-access journal and follows a double-blind review policy. Al-Fahmu: Jurnal Ilmu Al-Qur'an dan Tafsir in partnership with AIAT Indonesia (Association of Lecturers in Al-Qur'an and Tafsir) and Supervisor by RJI (Relawan Jurnal Indonesia). The journal is being managed professionally and so will be submitted for national accreditation from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemdikbudristekdikti) in the years to come.
The scope of Al-Fahmu: Jurnal Ilmu Al-Qur'an dan Tafsir specializes in studying the theories and practices of Qur'an and Tafsir and is intended to express original researches and current issues. This journal welcomes the contributions of scholars from related fields that consider the following general topics;
- Linguistics, Literary and Thematic Perspectives on the Qur’an and Tafsir
- Qur’anic and Tafsir Studies: Methodology and Hermeneutics
- Manuscripts and Textual Criticism on the Qur’an and Tafsir

The official language of the manuscript to be published in the Al-Fahmu: Jurnal Ilmu Al-Qur'an dan Tafsir are English, Arabic, and Indonesian. All articles published by the journal Al-Qur'an dan Tafsir will have a unique DOI number.
